Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified HUBZONE Small Business Firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to perform the following work at USCG Station Indian River Inlet, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The following is a partial scope of work to be performed. 1. Remove and replace dropped ceiling and lighting in main passageway. 2. Repair cracks and paint berthing room walls and ceilings. 3. Upgrade to mens and womens wet rooms including new tile, new plumbing fixtures, new ceiling, new toilet accessories, paint and electrical code upgrades. 4. Asbestos abatement and replacement of boiler room wallboard. 5. Replace HVAC fan coil units and thermostats. The NAICS Code is 236220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $28.5. The estimated range of this acquisition is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland no later than 12 August 2003. Responses shall include the following information: Company Name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address; business size, disadvantaged, 8(a) or HUBZONE status. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set-aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
