Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to install approximately 2250 square yards (SY) of carpet in accordance with this statement of work, the drawings and the site visit at 6448, Barksdale AFB LA. All carpet shall be from the same dye lot and manufacturer. The contractors shall verify all measurements at the site visit. Prior to beginning installation, the Contractor, the Contracting Officer or the Quality Assurance Personnel (QAP) will conduct a walk through (approximately 24 hours prior to beginning for work) of the proposed areas that are to be carpeted. THE PROPOSED SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR A VERY SMALL BUSINESS CONCERN NAICS 314110. Small business size standard is 500 EMPLOYEES. The solicitation will be posted on the EPS web site (www.eps.gov). Anticipated offer due date is 19 Sep 2003. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the web page frequently and obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. ?Notice to offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.?
