- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N15FY03000492 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This solicitation is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 334220, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Hurlburt Field intends to purchase the following: (5) Quantity ? HIGH POWER AMPLIFIER (HPA), MODEL AM-7565, PART NUMBER 622274-1; (5) Quantity ? POWER SUPPLY, MODEL MXF-100-6C, PART NUMBER 535763-301; (5) Quantity ? POWER CABLE MXF-100-6C, PART NUMBER 568770-810; (5) Quantity ? POWER CABLE MXF-110-6C, PART NUMBER 568771-820. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications. Additionally, delivery time, and all transportation/shipping costs are required to be included in the quote. GSA items shall be noted as well as the GSA contract number. Place of delivery shall be 6 SOS/RM, Attn: Joe Klipstein, 820 Tully St Bldg. 90140, Hurlburt Field Florida 32544. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. However, funds may become available on or before 30 September 2003. Please respond to this request for quote with an offer that is valid through 30 September 2003. If funds do not become available by 30 September 2003, this request is automatically cancelled. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated either by reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (OCT 2000), applies to this acquisition and is amended to read; FAR clauses and provisions can be located via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form. The Government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items (Jan 1999), which is incorporated into this Request for Quote, with addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the item(s) offered to meet the Government requirement; (ii) price. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the greatest value to the Government. The technical capability and price are of equal importance. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (June 2003), with the quotation. Each offeror shall submit their signed and dated offer (signed by an official authorized to bind your organization in a contract) in one original copy to 16th Contracting Squadron, Attn: TSgt Russell Kneen, P.O. Box 9190, 350 Tully Street, Hurlburt Field FL 32544 at or before 1300 (1:00 PM Central Standard Time), 11 September 2003 and must indicate the reference number for identification purposes. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (Feb 2002), applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2001). Registration with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) is mandatory.
