- CLASS CODE: 3825 SUBJECT: Walk-Behind Automatic Floor Scrubber SOLICITATION: FB705431430100 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FB705431430100 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and is 100% set aside for Small Business. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Contractor shall identify delivery time. Award date is expected to be not later than September 30, 2003. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333319 and the size standard is 500 employees. The requirement is for the 11 Logistics Readiness Squadron. The contract line item is: CLIN 0001 ? Walk-Behind Automatic Floor Scrubber with scrubbing path between 35? and 38?. Scrub head of 2 cylindrical brushes. Minimum of one horsepower heavy-duty brush drive motor. Include Battery charger and 2 additional cylindrical brushes. Tennant 5700XP or equal. Price should include delivery. Award will be made on the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination: 11 SUPPLY SQ LGSPF FB7054, 229 Brookley Ave. Rm 105, Bolling AFB, DC 20032. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government?s rights under the Inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government?s rights with regard to the other terms and conditions under this contract. In the event of a conflict the terms and condition of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverable listed in the schedule. FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide back-up information supporting the price offered. This could take the form of the most recent catalogue price, invoices from previous sales of the same items, etc. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications- Commercial Items, with its offer. The FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and will be incorporated into any resulting contract.
