- Description
- The purpose of this amendment to solicitation SP4700-03-T-0043 is to respond to vendor questions received to date. Question: The Polycom ViewStation FX comes with a built-in "Wide Angle Lens" - do you desire an additional lens? Answer: No. Question: The PRI module is the CSU - do you desire an additional one as listed "ACE"? Answer: You will need a T1 CSU ACE. The Mfg. Part number is 1202022L1. Question: Can I assume that the requested training be provided the same day and place as the quoted installation? Answer: Yes. Question: Is the Wega Trinitron monitor a requirement or is a Sony or JVC Monitor of equal size and S-Video input OK? Answer: Prefer to stick with the equipment that is on the order because it matches the other locations configuration. Do not want anything which will interfere with our ability to communicate using the VTC. Question: Is the current (newer) document camera on the Polycom GSA schedule OK? (that camera is the "ELMO EV-2000 Visual Presenter Document Camera") - - or is another "document camera" acceptable - - maybe even a ceiling mounted document camera such as the "CeilingVIEW" by Vaddio (http://www.vaddio.com/CeilingVIEW.pdf). Answer: Prefer to stick with the equipment that is on the order because it matches the other locations configuration. Do not want anything which will interfere with our ability to communicate using the VTC. Question: Is the "Government" version of the Polycom ViewStation FX required (part number G2200-20323-001) or simply 2200-20323-001?? (There is a $500 price difference in the MSRP of the two). Answer: Prefer to stick with the equipment that is on the order because it matches the other locations configuration. Do not want anything which will interfere with our ability to communicate using the VTC. Question: Is this a GSA purchase? Answer: No. We are going open market only. Question: Can you provide the shipping address for the two locations? Answer: One System will be shipped to DLA Systems Integration Office, 5851 F Avenue, Bldg. 849, Room A66, Hill AFB, UT 84056 and the other system will be shipped to DLA Systems Integration Office, 2001 Mission Drive, Suite 2, New Cumberland, PA 17070. For an offer to be considered acceptable you must submit a quote for BOTH systems as this is all or none for award. Offers are due 15 September 2003, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Deliver quote to Andrew T. McNamara Headquarters Complex, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Suite 1145, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6220 or fax to 703-767-1172 attention, Ms. Brenda Geist..
