The Government awarded a service contract for Water Delivery Services at Saylor Park at the United States Air Force Academy (contract F05611-02-P-0383), but the perspective option years were not synopsized in accordance with FAR part 5. This synopsis therefore, is issued in order to meet the requirements of FAR part 5 and synopsize the remaining option years. This contract is a sole-source award to a Small Business. B. Description of Services: Contractor shall furnish all labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to deliver portable water to Saylor Park. Contractor shall pump from water tanker into Government provided containers (water buffaloes). Contractor shall ensure that all water deliveries occur not later than (NLT) 9:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). Contractor shall follow the base speed limit of 35 MPH while operating a vehicle on Rampart Range Road (main road into designated area), and 20 MPH on all other roads. Government furnished property and services: Government shall furnish four 400-gallon water containers, commonly called water buffaloes. Point of Servicing: Water containers (water buffaloes) shall be prepositioned in accessible drive-by areas, but may be relocated occasionally to accommodate specific government activities. Contractor shall deliver water in accordance with the following Schedule: May: 22, 31 (A.M. Fill). June: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30 July: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30. C. The Government intends to exercise Option Year Two (2) in the amount of $7,095.00 with a period of performance of 1 October 2003 through 30 September 2004 (actual work to be performed during 22 May 2004 through 30 September 2004). The following Contract Line Items apply to this option year: 2001 Weekday Water Delivery Service 2002 Weekend Water Delivery Service 2003 Holiday Water Delivery Service 2004 On-Call Water Requests D. The Government reserves the right to exercise Option Year Three (3) in the amount of $7,095.00 with a period of performance of 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005 (actual work to be performed during 22 May 2005 through 30 September 2005. The following Contract Line Items apply to this option year: 3001 Weekday Water Delivery Service 3002 Weekend Water Delivery Service 3003 Holiday Water Delivery Service 3004 On-Call Water Requests E.
