Description: NA The US Army Communications-Electronics Command, Night Vision & Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD), Ft. Belvoir, VA plans to award a follow-on contract to Intevac, Photonics Technology Division, Santa Clara, CA. The objective of this effort is to col lect high resolution imagery in support of the development of aided target recognition (aTR) algorithms. The proposed contract will leverage Intevacâs recent work with NVESD using laser flash illumination to identify targets at extended ranges. The proposed contract will require Intevac to perform the following tasks: (a) Provide laser flash illumination hardware and operators to conduct four (4) one (1) week imagery data collections at Ft. A.P. Hill, VA over a twelve month period. (b) Collect/record laser flash illumination imagery of designated targets. A non-competitive award is planned, however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. Only written requests for this solicitation will be accepted.
