Description

NA The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, with Oracle Corporation, 1910 Oracle Way Reston, Virg inia 20190-4735. The Contractor shall provide a software update and product support package for Server V7.1 system with TCP/IP Protocol and Server EE 7.3 and 8 8.0 located at the Network Infrastructure Service Agency in Washington D.C. The only known sou rce that has can provide the necessary parts and software upgrades due to proprietary rights is Oracle. The government anticipates a Fixed Price contract. This action is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13.5 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Pr ocedures for Commercial/Items Services under FAR Part 12. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 with size standard of $7,874.0. This requirement is for a 12-month base year contract. This is not a request for quote or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Request for copies of a solicitation will not be honored. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
