Description
The purpose of this amendment is to delete the reference to: (Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).) and to add note 1. NOUN: Lever, remote (Left Arm Assy); NSN: 3040-01-267-7735NZ; PN: 4067419; QTY: 211; U/I: Each; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: 4.5 inches x 2.5 inches x .150 inches. FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Used on F100/200/220E. These arms link components within the compressor section of the F100 engine. Predominant Material: Nickel Alloy (PWA 649). Required Delivery: 210 each 8 months after receipt of contract. No telephone solicitaton requests well be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Government Furnished drawings are not available. The award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer is a qualified source at the time of award. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Manager or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
