Description
Primary POC Esther Hayden at 614-692-4727. This solicitation is for an indefinite quantity type contract for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured predominantlt by HR Textron (CAGE 96124 or 81873) and other approved sources as well as competitive items made in accordance with Government specifications/drawings. All NSNs and part numbered items are available for download under "Acquisition download: menu item on DSCC Internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS) under subject heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations". Access is directly available by accessing http://dibbs.dscccols.com. Access is also available via the World Wide Web(WWW)at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. Award will be made on an all or none basis per NSN for the supplies covered under this contract. There is a potential for split awards. Each NSN will be avaluated separately. Various quanitities, units of issue and required deliveries with shipment to military customers in the continental United States (CONUS), outside of the continental U.S.(OCONUS) and Foreign Military Sales. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s) 9 and 26. The solicitation will be available on its issue date 04/01/2002/ at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at the DIBBS web site. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07-Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL, MILITARY and COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Applies to items with AMSC of G or B--34 NSNs to this solicitation. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Applies to items with AMSC of A,C.D,H,P,R, L and U-- 228 items in this solicitation.This proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class: 1420,1430,1440,2530,2805,2910,2920,2940,2990,3010,3040,4310,4320, 4330,4420,4710,4730,4810, 4820,4940,5905,5930,5935,5950,5961,5962, 5998,5999 and 6625. This acquisition is for supplies for which the government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are included with the aforementioned internet site. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This announcement is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured primarily by HR Textron(cages 96124 and81873).
