Description

NA (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This purchase request (PR) will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the following PR number: BDEFW3241K4185. (iii) This PR and the provisions and clauses incorporated are tho se in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. (iv) This acquisition is unrestricted in regards to size standards. The applicable NAICS is 333314 (v) This RFQ contains three (3) line items, unique specification for this requirement Modula r Assault Vest, 1 Piece, complete with different pouches, all weather proof and unbreakable clip. The vest is constructed from 1000 denier cordura nylon and Mil-spec webbing with OD color, All seams have double stitched with nylon thread: 0001: Modular A ssault Vest, 1 Piece, Complete with the following: one vest body, four triple 30 rd. AR-15 mag pockets, two large utility pockets, and two small utility pockets. Have 1.5-inch adjustable shoulder straps and a waist belt. There are quick disconnect buckl es up front. The vest body also has a velcro pocket for storing maps of survival gear. QTY: 1500 each. (vi) The delivery date will be 15 – 30 Nov 2003. Delivery location, Acceptance will be Government FOB destination to Fort Wainwright, Alaska 9970 3. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition, along with the following addenda. (ix) Offers will be evaluated using the following evaluation factors technical acceptable, price and delivery time. The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government. (x) All offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Alt I) (See attached) (xi ) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (Apr 2002).
