Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in thi s notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD05-03-T-0116. Requirement is for Paratrooper Equipment for the Gov ernment of Slovakia. For a complete list of items required, please e-mail the contract specialist listed below. Please note: offerors must certify that the items being proposed conform to the requirements at DFARS 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Dom estic Commodities. Proposed items must have been grown, reprocessed, reused, or produced in the United States, its possessions, or Puerto Rico. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement, FMS Case LO-B-UAW; purchase request USASAC3223X016. Delivery te rms are F.O.B. Origin. Shipping will be arranged by the cognizant DCMA office. The vendor shall supply the contracting office with the location from where the material will be shipping. Offerors must provide a delivery schedule with their proposal. Pa rtial shipments are acceptable, however, shipments shall be as consolidated as possible to avoid items being lost in transit. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies t o this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While price is more important than delivery, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provis ion at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Co nditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR clauses cited in this clause are applicable: (15) 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (16) 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; (17) 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity For Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, (18) 52.222-36, Affirmative Action For Workers with Disabilities, (19) 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, (24) 52.225-1 3, Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases (29) 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (May 1999). A completed copy of the provision at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial It ems, must be provided with offers. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001 applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses that apply to this acquisition: 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, 52.247-29 FOB Origin, 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, and 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities.
