Description

D--Software Maintenance Renewal for Scheduler Software (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation # DHQLGL04MPL0029. This solicitation is a Request For Quote(RFQ). (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 15 (7-24-03) and Defense Change Notice 20030821. (iv) The resultant sole-source contract will be 100% set aside for small business as Software & Management Associates owns all proprietary rights to the software's source code and is the only known source for maintenance. NAICS 541519, other Computer Related Services. Size Standard is $21M average annual receipts over past three years. (v)(vi) CLIN 0001: Scheduler Software License Support on Unisys Clearpath systems at Montgomery AL, Ogden UT, Oklahoma City OK, and on a non-DISA system in Europe. (vii) Required Period of coverage for maintenance is 1 October 2003 through 30 September 2004. Delivery is to DISA SSO - Montgomery CDTM 401 East Moore Drive, Bldg. 857 Maxwell AFB Gunter Annex, AL, 36114-3001. (viii) FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR 52.212-2 does not apply to this sole source acquisition. (x) Quotes shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item (excluding paragraph “b”); DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item. (xi) FAR 52.212-4 Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition (xii) FAR 52.212-5(Deviation) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity ; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity For Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and other Eligible Veterans ; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disablities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and other Eligible Veterans applies to this acquisition.
