Description
The government intends to purchase (09) each Studio Color 575 Spotlights. Purchase Request Number F4HQFR32340100. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-14. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. The vendor shall supply the following: Studio Color® 575 provides the user with a full designer's palette including virtually unlimited color selection, dimming, strobe/shutter, variable beam shaping, variable frosting, and precision positioning. This amazing combination of features has made Studio Color 575 a staple of the entertainment industry. Using the CMY color mixing system together with a discrete color wheel yields an almost endless palette of color. Together with variable beam shaping and adjustable diffusion, the user can create virtually any imaginable wash design. Additionally, the strobe system provides instant blackout, variable and random speed strobing, and other strobe effect. Features: CMY color mixing system - Color wheel with 5 replaceable colors, including 1 CTO color corrector, and 1 open position - 2 effects wheels with beam shaping - 1 wheel has frost, and 1 has a wide angle lens - Variable frost - Variable strobe - Selectable beam angle (8 to 22) - Full optical dimming and fade to black - Optical encoders automatically correct the head's position if it is manually moved Construction: - High resolution microstepping motor control for smooth motion at all speeds - Stunningly fast, smooth, and quiet yoke movement using proprietary multi-phase technology - Computer designed optical components for maximum light efficiency - Performance-oriented exterior design prevents stray light scatter - Easy lamp replacement - Convection cooled for quiet, fanless operation via integrated heatsink and reflector combination - 3-pin XLR connector Operation: 370º pan and 240º tilt movement - Operates on DMX control - Occupies 16 DMX channels in standard protocol - Quick lamp ignition - Auto-switching power supply - Power factor correction - Power Comsumption: 700W max.; 100V - 240V, 50/60Hz Options: - MSD 575 lamp (for enhanced lamp life) - Optional wide angle lenses providing WFL and XWFL PAR beams Mechanical Specs Height: 610mm (24 in.) - Width: 483mm (19 in.) - Depth: 305mm (12 in.) - Weight: 29.5kg (57 lbs.) The NAICS Code is 335129; size standard 500 employees. A firm-fixed price award will be made to the responsible offer or submitting the quote that provides the best value to the Government. All responses will be considered, but must be submitted on the requirement included in this synopsis. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. (CT). Offerors must also include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items which can be obtained at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following clauses also apply: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. Paragraph (c) of this clause is tailored as follows: (c Changes. In addition, FAR 39.106 applies All Information Technology must be: (A) (1) Year 2000 Compliant; or (2) If non-compliant, items must be upgraded to be Year 2000 compliant.
