Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number for this request for quotation is F1442731890800. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-15 and Defense DCN 20030821. If two (2) or more responsive, responsible and technically acceptable small or HUBZone businesses respond, this acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business, if not, it will be unrestricted. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 3895. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5082. The North American Industry Classification System is 423810 and the associated business size standard is 100 employees. This request for quotation consists of the following: DITCH WITCH TRENCHER MODEL 3700 BASIC UNIT WITH ATTACHMENTS: H314 REAR ATTACHEMNT & A322 INCLUDES INFINITELY VARIABLE HYDROSTATIC FOUR WHEEL DRIVE EQUIPED WITH: DEUTZ F311011 AIR COOLED DIESEL ENGINE (43 HP GROSS @ 3000 RPM, 37.5 HP NET @ 2500 RPM AS INSTALLED) FOOT CONTROL GROUND RIVE AND HAND THROTTLE, SIGNGLE HANDLE BACKFILL BLADE WITH FLOAT, ENCLOSED AND LUBRICATED GROUND DRIVE REDUCTION GEARBOX, AUTOMOTIVE TYPE STEERING WITH SINGLE STEERING CYLINDER ON OSCILATING FRONT AXLE, HRDROSTATIC SERVICE BREAK, MECHANICAL DISC AND CALIPER PARKING BRAKE, INFINITELY VARIABLE HYDRORSATIC ATTACHMENT DRIVE, DELUXE ADJUSTABLE OPERATORS ET, SELAT BELT, 12 VOLT ELECTRIC START, HORN, VOLTMETER, FUEL GUAGE, HOUR METER, ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT, AND AUTOMATIC SHUT DOWN, HYDRAULIC OIL TEMPERATURE WARNING LIGHT, AND INTERLOCK START MONITOR.
