Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73ACS32321500 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20030722. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334310 with a small business size of 750 employees. This acquisition will be issued as a 100% Small Business set aside. This requirement is for the purchase of equipment and installation: LINE ITEM 1500; Upgrade Commanders Conference Room, Audio Video control system podium to include Engineering, programming, and installation 1ea LINE ITEM 1501; Upgrade Barnes Auditorium Audio Visual Control Podium, to include, Engineering, programming, and installation 1 ea LINE ITEM 1502; RVW A/V Lectern 2 ea LINE ITEM 1503; AMX Touch Panel Interface 2 ea LINE ITEM 1504; AMX VGA Input Card 2 ea LINE ITEM 1505; AMX Video Input Card 2 ea LINE ITEM 1506; ELO 17” touch pad 2 ea LINE ITEM 1507; AMX Integrated control System 1 ea LINE ITEM 1508; AMX Volume Control Card 1 ea LINE ITEM 1509; AMX Power Supply 2 ea LINE ITEM 1510; AMX Mini Touch panel 1 ea LINE ITEM 1511; Extron matrix router 1 ea LINE ITEM 1512; JVC SRS365U SVHS recorder player with rack mount 1 ea LINE ITEM 1513; Dalta low voltage control screen 1 ea LINE ITEM 1513; AMX lightening system enclosure 1 ea LINE ITEM 1514; AMX lightening system controller 1 ea LINE ITEM 1515; AMX dual dimming module 2 ea LINE ITEM 1516; AMX lighting system power supply 1 ea. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this RFQ. If you are quoting an equal, state equal on your proposal, and provide documentation to this office explaining the item. Award will be made to the low offeror that meets all requirements of this Synopsis. Award will be made to a single source. The desired delivery date is NLT 10 October 2003. Delivery will be coordinated with Major Ted Halley @ 334-953-2715. FOB is Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jul 2003), applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items (Jun 2003); DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Nov 1995); and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance Payment Program Certificate (Apr 2003) with the quotation.
