Description
UNICOR intends to enter into a five-year firm fixed price requirements type contract for hardware for FCI Milan, MI. Solicitation number is FN1170-03 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). Additional Specifications and drawings will be available in solicitation document. Delivery is 30 days for initial delivery order and 15 days after receipt of each subsequent delivery order. The minimum and maximum delivery order quantities will be listed in solicitation document. Variation in quantity is +/- 10%. An economic price adjustment will be given once every 12 months after contract award date. Offerors will be required to submit six (6) each of the NUT6018 and PIN3608 to the contracting officer by the offer closing date and time. Offerors who have previously been approved by UNICOR, need not submit samples for this requirement. Samples sent shall contain the solicitation number and UNICOR stock number. This procurement is a small business set aside. Only offers from small business concerns will be considered. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to the Office Furniture Group, 320 First Street NW, 400 Building, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Bid Custodian. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. Offerors who have not done business with UNICOR shall complete the ACH form, which can be found on UNICOR?s webpage. Fax proposals are accepted at 202-353-7794, Attn: Bid Custodian, the fax cover sheet shall reference the solicitation number and offer closing date and time. Original proposal must be received within two (2) days of submitting fax proposal. All offerors must acknowledgment all amendments. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: Past Performance, Specification, and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The solicitation will be available on UNICOR?s website at www.unicor.gov and eps.gov on or about September 12, 2003. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible offerors may submit an offer, which will be considered.
