- This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, 0001) Industrial VTR-750 Top loading kiln assembly for Propulsion Flight consisting of the following components: Chamber 46.5" diameter by 27" deep. 480 volt, 3ph, 18kw, 24A, design temperature 2000F. Walls of 4.5" firebrick with coiled wire heating elements supported in open grooves. Floor of 3" insulating firebrick with 1" vermiculite board backup. Roof of 4" ceramic fiber modules with internal support anchored to the shell. Shell of 16 gauge satin coat steel with high temperature paint. Integral bar grate base. Steel hinge with gas springs on lid. Cabling included. Barlett programmable wall-mount NEMA 12 panel, with mechanical contactor, type K thermocouple. Include Supply fusing/disconnect, Overtemp control, with redundant contactor and thermocouple, and Vent relay controlled by Bartlett controller. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F1MGQA032480100. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. North American Industrial Classification Standard 423830, Size Standard 500 employees, applies to this procurement.
