Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contracting Officer shall incorporate FAR 13.5 -- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items in the acquisition of these items. This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ), and the solicitation number is F01600-03-T-0047. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 20030821. This is a Full and Open Competition . The NAICS code is 451211 and the size standard is $6,000,000.00. The contractor shall provide the following items: CLIN 0001: ISBN 0130529559, World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Student Edition, Quantity: 3473; CLIN 0002: World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Teacher?s Edition, Quantity: 70; , CLIN 0003: World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Teaching Resources, Quantity: 70; CLIN 0004: World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Resources CD-ROM, Quantity: 70; CLIN 0005: Shipping and Handling. FOB point will be Source with delivery to Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 by 25 September 2003. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jul 2003), applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items (Jun 2003); DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Nov 1995); and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance Payment Program Certificate (Apr 2003) with the quotation.
