Description

The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base California, intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12--Acquisition for Commercial Items and FAR 13--Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Vernier Software & Technology, LLC.13979 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, OR 97005. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339111 and the size standard is 500. This acquisition is unrestricted. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0100: Vernier Physics Student Station, Order Code M1; CLIN 0101: Vernier Chemistry Student Station, Order Code M2; CLIN 0102: Vernier Physical Science Sensors, Order Code M3. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is 19 SEP 2003. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, September 18, 2003. Responses should be submitted to: 2ND LT. Omari Fennell, Contracting/Acquisitions Officer, at the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC/PKT), Directorate of Contracting, 5 S. Wolfe Avenue, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 5 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
