- Description
- (1) The United State Air Force, F-16 System Program Office, Hill Air Force Base UT is seeking information from capable sources interested in providing Advisory and Assistance Services necessary to validate, track, review, research, and maintain the F-16 Fleet availability and organization inventory. Required services include, but are not limited to, data collection, file maintenance, data entry, analysis, and evaluation culminating in high quality management presentations of meaningful recommendations, implementation methodology, and progress measurement that result in measurable cost effective improvement of the overall logistic effectiveness and allocation of resources within the F-16 fleet (to include Foreign Military Services and European Participating Air Force) by the System Program Office. Responses should include information regarding: technical competency in terms of engineering and facilities, prior company technical experience in relation to the topic, collaboration with other research organizations or agencies, suggestions to improve the Statement of Work, and biographies of technical experts. Responses should be submitted to Kent Wright, OO-ALC/LGKF BLDG 1233, 6072 Fir Avenue, Hill Air force Base, UT 84056-5820. Responses are to be limited to five (5) pages and may be submitted as three (3) individual copies by floppy disk in Microsoft Word 97. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the selection decision.
