- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation of Purchase Request F13SVS32411300 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. (iv) This acquisition is set aside exclusively for small business concerns. NAICS Code 237310 size standard $28.5M. (v & vi) Line item 0001, F13SVS31710800, An outdoor, electronic board sign of the following dimensions: 8-9 feet wide, 7-8 feet high, 7-8 feet above the ground, with a 110 volt power supply. Specifications with logos and wording will be available at the site visit. Price is to include installation. Qty. 1. Line Item 0002, exterior sign for community center entrance, to include installation. Specifications to be provided at the site visit. Qty. 2. (vii) Items are to be delivered by 31 Dec 2003. Acceptance will be FOB destination to the Northstar Inn for CLIN 0001, and FOB destination to the Community Center for CLIN 0002. Elmendorf AFB AK 99506.) (viii) FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, is not applicable. IF FUNDING IS NOT AVAILABLE BY 30 SEP 2003 THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE CANCELED IN IT'S ENTIRETY. This solicitation could result in a multiple award. A site visit will be conducted on 11 September 2003 at 1:00 PM, Alaska Standard Time. Attendance for this visit is not mandatory for submission of an RFQ, however attendance is highly encouraged to provide offerors an opportunity to view the site and ask any questions that may arise pertaining to the site.
