Description
NA Work will consist of a four story 300 room/600 person Student Pipeline Dormitory with drilled piers, a reinforced concrete foundation/floor slabs, structural steel frame and roof system with a brick veneer. Work also includes a central energy plant, admin istrative/support area, laundries, commons area, communications, and all other necessary support. Fire protection, pavement, and utilities are included in this work. A Preproposal Conference and site visit for this project is scheduled for October 8, 200 3, at 10:30a.m., CDST, at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Passes to enter the base will be available at the Pass & ID building located at the Main Gate. A picture identification (current driver's license) will be required for all personnel entering the p ost, along with proof of insurance and vehicle registration. Only those representatives who have registered by name as per the not below will be allowed entrance to the base. Bring with you a copy of this solicitation and this notice. Vehicles are subje ct to search. Please plan your trip accordingly. The preproposal conference will convene at 10:30a.m., CDST, in the Conference Room, Building 1402 (Base Civil Engineering), located on the north side of 9th Avenue. NOTE: Prospective offerors who plan to attend the conference MUST provide, by facsimile, a list of names and titles of representatives, not to exceed three (3) per offeror, who will attend the conference NO LATER THAN 11:00a.m., October 7, 2003. The list should be transmitted to RANDY BRATCHER , fax number 918-669-7495. Estimated cost range of this project is $25,000,000 to $100,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on/or about September 26, 2003, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMIT ED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, specifications, and planholders lists will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Registration for plans and specifications MUST BE MADE VIA OUR INTERNET HOME PAGE at www.swt.usace.army.mil select Contracting, Curre nt Solicitations. No phone calls to order please. All orders will be mailed via first class mail. Requests for special handling (Fed-X, etc.) will not be honored.
