Description

The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire various microbiology/mycology items for laboratory service in support of the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), Bethesda, MD. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12, as a commercial items acquisition, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated, with a one-year base period of performance and four one-year option periods, beginning 01 October 2003. The applicable NAICS code is 325414. Items are to be shipped in accordance with the delivery schedule set forth in the solicitation. There are 238 items for each year. Release of the RFQ (Request For Quote) will be via the Internet. Interested parties may download the RFQ (Request For Quote) upon its issuance from the following website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. It is imperative that interested parties review the NECO website frequently for any updates and/or amendments. The Request for Quote is expected to be issued on or about 10 September 2003 and close 17 September 2003.
