Description
NA Contract for four (4) Height Reducible Electronics Enclosures for seven (7) ton truck. System shall be self-contained, mounted on an ISO configured base that can easily be removed from the truck bed, be reducible to the point that it does not extend above the reduced cab, providing tactical, shelterized work space with 60 dB EMI shielding, two ventilation openings, personnel entry ladder, roof access steps and handhold, hoist fittings, personnel access door, secondary exit, and power/signal ports. Shall be constructed of weatherproof, lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistant, low maintenance materials, and possess platform flexibility that includes stand-alone capability. This proposed action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. An award will be made only if the product meets approval at time of award. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15, effective July 24, 2003. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 332995 and the corresponding size standard is 500. Offerors must be registered in the CCR (Central Contractor Registration) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an Offeror ineligible for award. Information may be obtained by calling (888) 227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The contractor may be required to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application, called Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). This application allows DoD vendors to submit and track invoices and Receipt/Acceptance documents electronically. This application allows for complete visibility throughout the acceptance and payment process. The web-site for registration is http://rmb.odgen.disa.mil/.
