- ****MODIFICATION****Specifications for this project are attached to tear down and dispose of old paint booth. Replace with new modified down draft booth. To include installation, shipping and testing. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR 16 SEP 03 AT 10:00, AT THE CONTRACTING OFFICE, 101 E. HILL BLVD. 2ND FLOOR, CHARLESTON AFB SC. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items Evaluation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical capability of the items offered to meet the governemnt's requirement, (2) Price and (3) Past Performance. The government will evaluate offers for award purposes for the toal price of the requirement, Technical and past performance, when combined, are approximately equal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation number is F1383531340200 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 335510 with a 500-employee size standard. Contractors shall submit a lump sum proposal for all labor and materials included in this project. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Request Quotation to replace existing spray paint booth/bay. Contractor will provide all labor and material. This will be a turnkey installation, and we are requesting the Civil Engineer Squadron to provide a final inspection upon completion of requirement. Quote must reflect FOB Destination.
