Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-03-T-0114 is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334516, Size: 500. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-15. This is a request to upgrade Duo to PRO Server. The following details the components necessary to upgrade existing customer Lab System Duo Configurations to a Lab System PRO System includes one Hewlett-Packard xw5000 Pentium 4 computer with 2.8 GHZ processor, 500 MB memory, two 80 GB hard drives, one DVD+RQ/CD-RW drive, one IntelliMouse Explorer mouse, one Microsoft Windows 2000 software license, and Lab System PRO software license. Part# 2001210: 1 each, HP XW5000 CPU with Lab System PRO EP Recording System (includes Software); Part # 2001175: 2 each, 20? LCD, Flat Panel Color Monitor; Part#2001185: 21? CRT, Remote Color Monitor; Part# 2001172: 1 each, Video Splitter Kit; Part# 200901: 1 each, 50ft remote monitor cable; Part# 200938: 2 each, 5 BNC Monitor Cable ; Part# 2001183: 2 each, BNC F-F Coupler; Part# 2001177: 1 each RS 232 Cable, 25ft This acquisition incorporates the following FAR clauses: 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Oct 95); 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIALITEMS (Oct 95) must be completed and submitted along with the proposal (please contact Tess Bayquen at 619-532-8108) if a copy is needed. Past performance, technical capability based on the description requirements and delivery when combined are significantly more important than cost or price. This solicitation is BRAND NAME OR EQUAL.
