Description
Requirement. The Air Force is attempting to determine if capable and willing small business contractors are available to provide repair and maintenance of refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment at five (5) commissaries Buckley AFB CO, Fort Carson CO, Peterson AFB CO, USAF Academy CO and F.E. Warren AFB WY. All commissaries are located in the MidWest Region of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials and equipment, and transportation necessary to perform monthly maintenance, 24/7 availability, provide emergency response service within two (2) hours of notification and repaired within 24 hours in all five commissaries. Commissary must remain open and operational during business hours throughout the period of performance. Must meet all local, state, and federal EPA requirements. Experience required in commercial supermarket Refrigeration/HVAC systems. Contemplating a firm-fixed price requirements contract with a 12-month base year and four one-year option periods. Description. The Government reserves the right to decide whether or a not a SB set-aside is appropriate based on responses to this notice. Note: Large Business contractors do not need to respond to this notice. In order for the Government to make a SB set-aside determination, it is requested that SB concerns provide sufficient written information supporting their capability to perform. This information should as a minimum include (a) company name, address, point of contact and their telephone number and e-mail address; (b) provide past corporate and Government contract numbers with points of contact and current phone numbers; (c) degree of experience in commercial supermarket Refrigeration/HVAC systems (d) approximate annual gross revenue; (e) small business status (8(a), HUBZone, veteran-owned, women-owned, (etc.); (f) comments indicating whether or not they would be likely to submit a proposal if a formal solicitation is forthcoming. Internet and e-mail capabilities are a requirement. The planned NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code is 811310 with a business size standard of $6 million per year. All required information must be provided not later than 14 Oct 03. Email is preferred.
