Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 ?????? Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 ?????? Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as suppl emented with additional information included in this notice. This CSS is being issued as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with FAR provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written soli citation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2521 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 337211 with a size standard of 500 emp loyees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15 effective 25 August 2003 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition, current to DCN 20030821. It is issued as Brand Name or Equal in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6 (Aug 1999) and is anticipated that payment of the contract, resulting from this CSS, will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. Offeror s shall account for any costs associated with accepting credit cards payment in their proposal. The suggested manufacturers for this requirement are Martin, National Business Furniture (NBF), K-Log, Inc. and SKOG. This requirement is for office furniture for various office locations throughout U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma. Arizona. The resulted contact will consist of 125 Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) to include delivery and set-up to USAYPG, Yuma. Arizona. The contract award will b e based on an all or none basis. This CSS and the CLIN pricing sheets will be available on the U.S. Army Contracting Agency Yuma Directorate website www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/rfp.html, not later than 15 September 2003. All proposals shall be clearly marked with Solicitation Number DABK41-03-R-0208 and emailed to Linda.Renteria@yuma.army.mil no later than 3:00 PM MST, September 22, 2003. Offers that fail to furnish required representations required by FAR 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and c onditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptabi lity and price.
