Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation No. 401813Q313, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporared provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 331210, Standard Size: 750. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Servide intends to issue an award for Ten (10) Water Control Structures consisting of: (1 ea.) 24" X 20' 16GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with 12" Drop Closed Bottom and 42" Wide X 5' High Flashboard Riser with 1 set of boards included; (3 ea.) 36" X 30' 14GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a 12" Drop Closed Bottom and a 60" Wide X 5' High Aluminum Flashborad Rise (1 set of boards included); (1) 24" X 24' 16GA. Aluminum Pipe; (1) 36" X 30' 14GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a 12" Drop Closed Bottom and a 60" Wide X 5' High Aluminum Flashboard Riser (1 set of boards included) and 36" Aluminum Gator Tide Gate; (1) 36" X 60' 14GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a 12" Drop Closed Bottom and a 60" Wide X 6' High Aluminum Flashboard Riser (1 set of boards included); (1) 30" Gator Concave Aluminum Flap Gate with a 30" Band and 1' of Pipe and Flange; (1) 23" X 30' 16GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a 12" Drop Closed Bottom and a 42: Wide X 5' High 12GA. Aluminum Flashboard Riser (1 set of boards included). (1) 30" X 20' 16GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a 12" Drop Closed Bottom and a 54" Wide X 5' High 12GA. Aluminum Flashbooard Riser (1 set of boards included). (1) 36" X 40' 14 GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a 12" Drop Solid Bottom and a 60" Wide X 8' High Aluminum Flashboard Riser (1 set of boards included); (1) 24" X 40' 16GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a 24" Gator Aluminum Flap Gate attached to Pipe; (1) 24" X 30' 16GA. Aluminum Outlet Pipe with a Aluminum Sluice Gate with a 4' Stem - Standard. + The following provisions and clauses are hereby incorporated into this RFQ by reference, (full text of the clauses may be accessed electronically at www.arnet.gov/far/): FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (see below for evaluation factors); FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercail Items; FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercail Items(in paragraph b check 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 24. No aggends apply to these provisions and clauses. Vendors wishing to respond to this solicitation shall provide this office with the following: a price quote on company letterhead for the requested. Quoters shall provvide a listing of major contracts completed in the last 3 years for similar work (include project name/identification, contract name and telephone number). Potential quoters shall also include a completed copy of provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with their quote. The Government will award contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered. Quotes shall be received by Close of Business, September 19, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Only written quotes (mail, fax copy or hand carry quotes) will be accepted.
