- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote solicitation number is M00681-03-T-0314. This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 and DCN 2003/08/21. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-A70. The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest Camp Pendleton CA 92055 has a requirement for the following items: CLIN 0001: CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, AND LABOR TO REPAIR/REPLACE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS LOCATED IN MESSHAL L (DUNCAN HALL), BUILDING 620, MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT (MCRD), 402 BELLEAU AVENUE, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA 92140. A. REUPHOLSTER 7 EACH LARGE BOOTH. THE WORK INCLUDE (1) REPLACE NEW DACRON TOPPERS ON ALL SURFACES; (2) REPLACE ALL PADDINGS;(3) REPLACE SPRINGS AS NEEDED. B. REUPHOLSTER 68 EACH SMALL BOOTH. THE WORK INCLUDE (1) REPLACE NEW DACRON TOPPERS ON ALL SURFACES; (2) REPLACE ALL PADDINGS; (3) REPLACE SPRINGS AS NEEDED. C. REPAD AND REUPHOLSTER 20 EACH BACK PANELS SURFACES. D. MATERIAL ? APPROXIMATELY 175 YARD VINYL, PACIFIC STYLE: RU 710, COLOR: CRIMSON OR EQUAL. MATERIAL ? APPROXIMATELY 92 YARDS VINYL, PACIFIC STYLE: RU 601, COLOR: NIMUS OR EQUAL. E. ONSITE SERVICES - THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 10 BOOTHS WORK THAT HAS TO BE COMPLETED ON SITE BECAUSE THE BOOTHS ARE STATIONERY AND CANNOT BE REMOVED. CONTRACTOR?S QUOTE SHALL INCLUDE ALL SHIPPING INTO AND OUT OF THE MCRD MESSHALL. Site Visit: A site visit for the above service can be scheduled between 8:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m., from Monday through Friday. Contact Ssgt Garcia at (619) 524-1497 to coordinate the site visit schedule. Evaluation ? The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: (1) Price, (2) past performance, (3)delivery date, (4) design and quality of product, and (5) labor warranty. Copies of the Representations and Certifications, as well as any of the previously mentioned provisions and clauses may be found at the following web site: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ Quotes are due by 1600 (Pacific Daylight Time) on 19 September 2003. Contact the Contracting Officer for any additional inquiries. Quotes may be submitted by facsimile transmission. Facsimile quotes are subject to the same rules as paper quotes. The telephone numb er of receiving facsimile equipment is 760-725-8445/4346. The government reserves the right to make award solely on the facsimile quote. The complete original quote shall be submitted if requested by the contracting officer. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that quotes (and any authorized modifications) reach the designated office on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the quote must reach the office before the deadline specified in this solicitation. Pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. Any facsimile transmission must clearly state the solicitation number and the name of the contracting officer on the f irst page to ensure proper receipt.
