- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quotation, numbered F2J00232530200-. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541430, size standard 500 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order for Design art work concept involving creating design concepts for art work design concepts for art layouts in building USSTRATCOM, art work selection, all information on order art work, cost estimates of art work and install, design and selection of materials that supports art work, project management for supervising installation of art work, weekly submittals of progress during work period. The contractor after enital visit must submit a work schedule and time lines to the POC. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. Please indicate FOB destination on quote. The following Provisions/Clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (which includes: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965, As Amended (41 U.S.C. 351, et seq.) (Applicable to Service Contracts only); 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires (29 U.S.C. 206 and 41 U.S.C. 351, et seq.) (Applicable to Service Contracts only)). Offeror shall include a complete copy of the provisions of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror's Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Awards cannot be made to contractors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registration at time of award. Offers are due no later than close of business 15 Sept 2003 and quotes must be valid for 30 calendar days after close of solicitation.
