Description
Combine Solicitation F25600-03-T-0091 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6 and FAC 2001-14, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All applicable provisions and clauses are included herein. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for the following CLIN 0001: Fall Arrest System. The system will consist of a horizontal trolley rail running approximate110 feet over the fuselage and two eighty feet sections over each wing allowing four people to work. Also, two twenty feet sections over the tail section allowing three people to work. Allow for five foot long walk past tolerance at each end of system. Quote should be with and without user sets. Quote to list price of materials, installation, warranty, and training. It is to your advantage to attend the site visit September 22, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at Offutt AFB, NE; however, anyone one may submit a quote. The site visit will be limited to no more than two adults representing their companies and you must notify 55 CONS/LGCB no later than 48 hours before the site visit of your intentions to attend. Must forward copies of personal information to include copies of driver licenses, copies of vehicle registration, and copies of proof of insurance to 55 CONS/LGCB to gain base entry. Fall arrest system must comply with AFOSHSTD 91-100 and AFOSH91-501. System must include a warranty of five years on major structural components and a warranty of two full years on the self-retracting lifelines from date of initial installation. Other purchased components shall carry the manufacturer?s warranty. Continuous training on the use of the system must be provided preferably via video. 1. DOCUMENTATION: All materials will remain the property of the Government. 2. MATERIALS AND OTHER DIRECT COSTS (ODCs): The contractor will provide new parts and provide express delivery of all replacement parts. SECURITY/ TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY AND FACILITIES: The contractor will be escorted at all times. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Building 457, 602 Looking Glass Ave, Offutt AFB, NE 68113. HOURS OF WORK: The contractor will complete his work during normal business hours.
