SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PR# FE206732460172 CONTRACTING OFFICE: WR-ALC/PKOE / MIKE WEAVER 235 BYRON STREET ROBINS AFB GA 31098-1611 POINT OF CONTACT: MIKE WEAVER / PH: (478) 926-5106/FAX: (478) 926-7549 E-Mail to William.Weaver@robins.af.mil This will be a firm fixed priced contract for one (1) each Micron Optima Camera and Inspection Software Bundle for the Model Argos 850 Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) System. Source of Supply: ManiaBarco, South Windsor, Ct. At the present time, the above named source is the only known source capable of providing the required items and as such this will be a sole source procurement action. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Anticipated/Estimated Award Date: September 24, 2003. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instruction to Offerors), FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-4, (Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items), and FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items). In accordance with clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: price and price related factors. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation. FBO Note # 22 applies.
