- Description
- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation of Purchase Request FU50003252200 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-05. (iv) This acquisition is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 443112 and small business size standards are $7,500,000. (v & vi) To purchase and install an audio visual system for chapel 1 to accommodate Catholic Mass and Protestant services and all other events in a professional manner. The visual system shall be mounted at or near the rear balcony centered and must have a long throw lens able to project an image onto a 9.5? x 8? screen from 75?. The projector shall be a minimum of HDTV Ready, 4500 Lumen Projection w/XGA Format, Horizontal and Vertical Keystone with an external colored video camera that shall be mounted at or near balcony console with a direct connection to the projector and computer input and remote. The audio system shall have 6 handheld wireless mics, 2 lapel wireless mics, and 2 headset mics for instrument players and shall be of professional quality. These mics shall have a rack-mounted system for full control of frequencies and settings from the balcony control booth. The system shall be equipped with an anti-distortion/anti-feedback module and shall have equalizers to produce a professional quality sound. The monitor amp shall be a 4-channel amp. The main amp shall be a minimum of 8 ohms, 360 Watt. Amps shall be located within the general sanctuary area. The system shall have a PMD 351 combination CD Cassette player with separate pitch control or equal. It shall have a minimum 16:2DX Audio Console or equal. System shall have a 100? audio snake with 6 inputs and 2 returns. The main speakers to include subwoofers shall be digitally controlled with full spectrum and shall be wall mounted with X&Y axis. Monitors shall consist of 6 Galaxy hotspots or equal. 6 standard mic stands and 6 mic stands with telescoping boom shall be provided. All components located in the balcony shall be secure in RAXXESS Elite roll top rack or equal. (Color: Cherry) Contractor shall provide all field installation/system wiring for audio components and interconnect to video projection system. (vii) Items MUST BE delivered by 09 Oct 2003.
