Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Upgrade the existing Johnson Control Metasys???? HVAC digital controls to the new Metasys Extended Architecture????. The goal is to upgrade the building controllers at buildings 130, 174, 627, 643, 644, 647, 655, 700, and 800, and the front-end controller computer workstation in building 645 from the Johnson Controls proprietary NCU system architecture to the new BACnet compliant Metasys Extended Architecture???? . A new front-end controller w orkstation using Windows 2000 OS shall be supplied with a 17?????? color monitor, alarm printer, modem and Ethernet port. The new workstation shall be configured with the Johnson Controls Dynamic Color Graphics package and the Johnson Controls Application and Data Server software, tailored to buildings listed above. All existing data points shall be maintained with the upgrade. Upgrade shall include alarming via the printer and outside communication via the modem. The existing communication bus shall be removed from the Base Wide Area Network and established on an independent, government provided, fiber pair by installing optical bit drivers in the central communication hub (building 642) and/or at the building controll. Provide a one (1) year warranty o n all materials and programming. This solicitation closes on 22 September 2003, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time The solicitation number for this Request for proposal is DAHA30-03-T-8007.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 01-12. This procurement is unrestricted with an assigned NAICS Code of 721110. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award.
