Description

NA The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, OK intends to enter into a sole source purchase with Varian Medical Systems Inc. using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for replacement of one (1) BCL waveguide for repair of their Varian L400 Linear Accelerator. Interested firms able to meet these requirments are invited to submit responses by September 19, 2003, but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to email address: stephen.dunbar@us.army.mil or regular mail to: Contracting Office, McAlest er Army Ammunition Plant, ATTN SJMMC-PC S DUNBAR, 1 C Tree Road, McAlester, OK 74501-9002. Responses must include, at a minimum, how the contractor proposes to meet the requirements herein. Written responses must include technical information sufficient to enable the Government to determine if the vendor can meet the Government's needs. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals received in response to this notice. If no affirmative responses are received by September 19, 2003 clearly demo nstrating a vendor's ability to meet the Government's needs, a sole source purchase order will be issued to Varian Medical Systems Inc. All vendors who provide goods and services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contrac tor Registration (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts. The internet address for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov.
