Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-01-059 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 541512 and the size standard is 21.0 Million. Line Item 1.) NCS Accra Full Form Processing; Manufacture No. AC300BS; QTY ? 1. Line Item 2.) NCS Accra Verify Module; Manufacture No. AC311S; QTY ? 2. The Federal Reserve Bank Saving Bond Processing sites will act as a backup and will provide overflow support for the conversion process. The sites currently use ?Accra? software to image and read RDS applications and have the capability to read savings bonds. The ?Accra? software meets 100% of our requirements for the conversion program. The five savings bond processing sites currently have this software. In order for the processing sites to act as a backup site and assist BPD in the overflow situations we MUST use the same software. The Government reserves the right to award on an all or none basis if the combination of the items result in the lowest aggregate cost to the Government. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on technically compliant, low price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items with their offer.
