NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following laser engraving system. CLIN 0001: 1 each, Laser system, Engraver, table top model, 24 inch x 24 inch split gantry system, ability to change from metal cutting to wood and plastics in 5 minute s, includes 4 in deep vacuum table top, CAD/CAM controller, 1 HP blower, 50 watt sealed CO2 laser, 200 volt to 240 volt single phase power supply, focus optics, focus adjustment, pressurized nozzle with regulator, programmable laser power controller, laser monitor, KCAM cutting and engraving software, PC card, certified laser safety glasses, heat exchanger for laser, Pentium computer with 17 inch monitor, CorelDraw 11 software, and training. MFR: Kern Electronics and Lasers, Inc or equal. All offers must include specifications of the item quoted if other than manufacturers part number listed above. Offerors must include with their quotation: GSA number if applicable, DUNN and Bradstreet number, Cage Code, Tax Identification Number, and pla ce (city and state name) where item is manufactured, business size and type, payment terms. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F724PD32490300. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor R egistration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. North American Industrial Classification Standard 333512, Size Standard, 500 employees, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to Utah Air National Guard, 765 North 2200 West Salt Lake City, Utah 84116 Bldg 25. Delivery time shall be 6 0 days ARO. The following provisions and clause apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only . The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms a nd Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis.
