Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice, not a request for proposals, for the PCSS1 Pole Camera Search System manufacture by Tactical Electronics or an ?or equal?. This requirement has not been funded at this time. This notice is to identify vendors that are capable of providing the above requirement for future acquisition for 6 SFS located at MacDill AFB, FL 33621. DO NOT SUBMIT A PROPOSAL AT THIS TIME. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 443130 (Camera and Photographic Supplies Stores) Any vendor capable of providing the required items can e-mail Matthew.Meier@macdill.af.mil Submit your interest in this procurement no later than Sep 17, 2003 by 12:00PM EST. If you can furnish an ?or equal? please submit a descriptions of the items along with any and accessories, so that it may be reviewed by a technical evaluator to determined if your "or equal" quote will be adequate enough for the governments requirement. If determined by the evaluator that the "or equal" will not meet the minimum requirement, the customer will submit a brand name letter justifying his decision if and when funds have been made available. If approved by the contracting officer, all bidder?s with the ?or equal? will be notified by e-mail with the notification that their item has been rejected and the reason why.
