Description

ISSUE DATE: 09/15/03. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to construct a new two-story addition to the Boat Maintenance Facility at the USCG Group/MSO Long Island Sound Station ? New Haven, Connecticut. The work includes demolition of existing windows and a portion of an existing wall to accommodate new addition, a new exterior wall system consisting of a 4-inch brick veneer with 8 inch concrete masonry unit backup. The work will also include: new window units, a sectional overhead door, interior gypsum board wall assemblies including interior and exterior doors, new interior finishes, new roof system for the addition and structural work (piles, pile caps, grade beams, slabs, steel beams, metal roof deck, and miscellaneous structural framing) associated with the addition. The tentative evaluation factors for this solicitation are as follows: Price, Past Performance, and Project Management Capability. The estimated cost range of this project is $250,000 to $500,000. This solicitation will be issued subject to the availability of funds. The Government will reserve the right to cancel this procurement either prior to or after receipt of offers. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 9/30/03. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for 10/30/03 at 2:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAIS code is 236210 and the size standard is $28.5 million. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. Bidders are required to verify the number of amendments issued with the Contracting Officer prior to the bid opening date.
