Description

The United State Secret Service intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract under FAR 6.302-1 to James F. Price, 58 Pebble Beach Circle, Charles Town, WV 25444. The award is for fingerprint identification services to be performed for the U.S. Secret Service. In addition to professional accreditation, the services to be performed require a knowledge and familiarity with Secret Service methods, procedures and policies on documentation of evidence and examination results. Current Secret Service security clearance is a requirement before commencing services. This notice is neither a request for quotations nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Only written responses sent via electronic mail will be accepted. The responses must be received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
