- Description: See numbered notes 1, 9, and 26. NSNs 2540-01-302-2595, Mirror Assembly, Rearview, consists of 1 left hand and 1 right hand assembly,complete with rackets and mounting hardware used on the HMMWV Vehicle, in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 5705704 and all related data; NSN 2540-01-411-2130, Army, Rearview Mirror, Aluminum Alloy Tubing, 0.750 in. nom OD by 0.083 in nom thick wall, in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 12342131 and all related data; NSN 2540-01-411-2130, Mirror Assembly, Rearview, Left Hand in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 12343061 and all related data. Solicitation is for a long-term contract and requires pricing for various quantity ranges for each NSN for shipments to various stock locations within CONUS. The FOB is destination. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 10/06/03. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the above issue date from DSCC-VTCD via one of the following media: internet at the above web cite; facsimile at (614) 692-2998: telephone at (614) 692-2344; e-mail at drawings@dscc.dla.mil or by mail at Defense Supply Center Columbus, ATTN: DSCC-VTCD, PO BOX 2990, Columbus, OH 43216-5000. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number (e.g. YPC/YPE), buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This is an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. A written quotation is required.
