- Description
- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with NETCOMM Inc., 6001 Montrose Rd, Rockville, MD., 20852, to renew the Visual Status of Funds (VSOF) System License for 10 user, Visual Employee Database System (VEDS) License for 10 user, Visual Status of Funds (VSOF) Help Desk Support fifty (50) hours, and Visual Employee Database System (VEDS) Help Desk Support fifty (50) hours for a period of twelve (12) months. VEDS is an enterprise wide employee management software product, which interface with the NIH Human Resources Database (HRDB). Utilizing client-server technology the VEDS provides flexible views, a custom report generator, and official (from HRDB) and unofficial (modified) employee data. VSOF is an enterprise wide accounting management software product, which interfaces with the NIH Central Accounting System data. Utilizing client-server technology the VSOF gives users flexible views and summaries of their accounting structure. Both licenses are considered to be the most comprehensive products available to the NIH community today. The acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511 and Standard Size is $21.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement. The determination by the Government not to complete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement.
