- Description
- Building 845, Room 131 - Conference room Upgrade Requirements. A. Electrically raise/lower projector screen mounted against front wall of room. 1)Screen should be flush with ceiling when stowed. 2)Screen viewing area must be big enough to easily view industry standard slides from 28-30 feet back from the screen. B. Greater than or equal to 3200 Lumens overhead projector. 1)Must have sufficient resolution to display to the screen size from above and provide an exceptional picture at a distance from 10 to 35 feet. 2)Projector(or switch gear) must be capable of receiving/displaying - PC generated image, Cable television picture and VTC secondary image. C. Distribution component capable of routing user selectable images/video to five different video displays(Overhead projector, PC Monitor, Lectern Monitor and Table Monitor. PC Image, Secondary VTC Image, Cable television, DVD video and VCR Video. D. TV(s) for displaying primary VTC image. Monitor size must be sufficient so thatimage can be viewed from a majority of the room at a distance of from 7 to 30 feet. The TV(s) must also be capable of receiving/displaying cable TV picture. E. Monitor mounting can be from either the ceiling or wall. 1) Mounting must allow the monitors to be stowed flush, or nearly flush, against the wall. 2)Mounting fixture must be suitable to allow affixing the VTC camera below the monitor. Vendor may provide alternate solutions. F. If TV from D does not include sound capability, a sound sytem must be provided capable of receiving, amplifying and delivering quality sound. Sound level should be equal at any location in the room. G. All associated A/V equipment (i.e. routers, switches, DVD, VCR, amplifier, VTC equipment, etc) will be mounted in an enclosed equipment rack in the rear of the room. 1)Mounting, cabling, grounding and connecting will be in accordance with industry standards. 2)External rack apperance must match or compliment conference room decor.
