- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with a dditional information included in this notice. This CSS is being issued as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with FAR provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will n ot be issued. This requirement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2521 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 337211 with a size standard of 500 employees. The solic itation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15 effective 25 August 2003 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition, current to DCN 20030821. I t is issued as Brand Name or Equal in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6 (Aug 1999) and is anticipated that payment of the contract, resulting from this CSS, will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. Offerors shall account for any costs associated with accepting credit cards payment in their proposal. The suggested manufacturers for this requirement are Martin, ADT-America and WorkSpace by Safco. This requirement is for office furniture various offices at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma. Arizona. The resulted contact will consist of 22 Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) to include delivery and set-up to USAYPG, Yuma. Arizona. The contract award will be based on an all or none basis. This CSS and the CLIN pricing she ets will be available on the U.S. Army Contracting Agency Yuma Directorate website www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/rfp.html, not later than 16 September 2003. All proposals shall be clearly marked with Solicitation Number DABK41-03-T-1018 and emailed to Cynd i.Ford@yuma.army.mil no later than 3:00 PM MST, September 22, 2003. Offers that fail to furnish required representations required by FAR 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The G overnment intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability and price. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporate d by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000). FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications (June 2003) Alternate I (Apr 2002) and DFARs 252.212-7000 Offer Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 1995) apply to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2002) applies to this acquisition, and specifically addendum, FAR 52.247-34 FOB Destination (Nov 1991).
