Description

NA By way of this notice, and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Chicago District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces its intention to award a sole source contract to Smith-Root, Incorporated for the designing and installing of a micro-pulsed DC electric array, which will form the basis for a dispersal barrier intended to deter the dispersal of aquatic organisms in the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal. The facility uses Smith-Roots proprietary technology to control invasive species. The contract Performa nce Period is approximately 24 months. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be firm-fixed-price. This notice is NOT a Request for Proposals, therefore, NO solicitation documents will be issued.
