Description

The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment and expertise to repair/rebuild two water supply wells at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Phoenix, Arizona. The scope of work includes but is not limited to removal of each pump and motor, well video, rebuild or replacement of pump motors, inspection of all parts of pumps for repair or replacement to bring to original specifications, brush and bail of well, re-video, reinstallation of pumps and motors, start-up and chlorination. Only one pump at a time may be taken out of service. Work must be complete on the first well prior to commencement of effort on the second well. The performance period will be ninety (90) calendar days. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 237110. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation will be available approximately September 25, 2003, with a projected due date of October 27, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions.
