Deadline: September 17, 2003; 05:00pm EDT. Primavera P3 Project Planner software Brand Name or Equal. Must meet the following specifications: 1) Software must be designed to handle large-scale, highly sophisticated and multifaceted projects and to organize projects up to 100,000 activities, provide unlimited resources and an unlimited number of target plans. 2) Software must handle massive data with sophisticated, yet highly flexible organization tools. 3) Software must provide a multitude of ways to organize, filter and sort activities, projects, and resources. 4) Software must be able to manage large, multi-disciplined project teams, short duration projects and critical projects sharing limited resources. 5) Software must offer a single database solution (ODBC-compliant) that provides simultaneous access to project files by multiple users throughout the project; whenever and wherever required. 6) Software must include Web features to make it easy to keep the whole team informed. 7) Software must include the capability for integrating its data with information throughout a company and support a wide variety of data exchange formats. 8) Must be able to cut and paste with other Windows applications, or use Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) to link information from other applications. 9) Must provide true Client/Server operation for accelerated processing and SQL access for reporting on the project database 10) Software must allow a user to create a project group to reflect complex links among individual projects and define any number of interrelated projects and project groups. 11) Software must be able to roll up information to analyze and report on project progress. 12) Software must support a multi-user capability. 13) Users must be able to simultaneously update, analyze and report on the same project. 14) Software must restrict access to certain project data by task, resource, phase or user-defined filter. 15) Project managers must be able to assign read/write, read-only, exclusive-access or no-access on a project level. 16) Software must support updates from local or remote teams, and communicate via Microsoft? Mail, cc:Mail? or any other VIM or MAPI-compliant mail system. 17) Software must include a graphical interface to plan and manage and report on your projects. 18) Software must allow users to organize, filter, summarize, and report on values such as project manager, project location, priority, division or resource. 19) Software must allow an interactive pure logic view of activities and relationships to allow users to evaluate the critical path of a schedule. Users must be able to analyze activities by time based on their time sequence. 20) Software must support backward resource leveling, smoothing and the ability to level selected portions of a project and allow scheduling to be done manually or automatically. 21) Software must allow layouts and reports to be saved as HTML format for use on a project web site. 22) Software must allow users to perform historical reporting and analysis by storing weekly or monthly past-period actuals of resource assignments, costs, and earned value for selected periods.
