Description
Notice of intent to issue an order to the Impact Resources and IR Technologies to provide technical assistance to Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM) in order to continue the development of communication strategies and related activities necessary to define the technical skills, processes and technologies required to sustain the ongoing Logistics Modernization and Systems Integration (LM&SI) efforts managed by the Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM). These modernization efforts require refinement of the Baseline Capability Value (BCV) and Communication Strategies at LOGCOM. These efforts are necessary to successfully integrate ongoing Logistics Modernization and Enterprise Integration (LM&EI) efforts into the logistics chain management and distribution processes managed by LOGCOM. This is one of a series of logical follow-on steps to support the strategies and BCV act ivities recommended by the Marine Corps Logistics Bases? IMCP. The proposed contract will have a 20-week performance period. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All capable proposals received within 5 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The RFP number is assigned for administration purposes only and no solicitation document exists. If no responses which meet the Government?s require ments are received within 5 calendar days after publication of this synopsis, a contract will be placed without further notice.
